Megan Moore Ortiz has been a part of the Texas Comedies family since 2014! Her professional training began at the American Musical and Dramatics Academy in New York City and progressed to Columbus, Ohio where she performed in several shows and movies. She eventually made her way to Austin, Texas where she has thrived on theater, voice over, film and dance projects that let her creative side shine. Throughout the years Megan has gone from performing in these fine musicals, to creating quirky choreography, to joining in on the creative side of things to help bring the history of Texas towns to life.
Josh is a multi-talented entertainer: actor, singer, and stand-up comic currently living in Los Angeles.
Kelsey Kimble was trained in classical voice technique from The University of Texas at Austin under the direction of Rose Taylor. Aside from her work with Texas Comedies, other favorite roles include: Eve in “Ruthless”, Regina in “Rock of Ages” and Calliope in “Xanadu”. She also sings and writes her own original songs. Kelsey has a passion for educating voice students of all ages and experience levels. Music directing credits include: "Unexpected Joy" (Ground Floor Theatre), “Man of La Mancha” and “Mary Poppins” (Georgetown Palace Theater) as well as “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” (Wimberley Players).
Heath Allyn is an award-winning actor, voice actor, writer, director, and Producer as well as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. Always striving for versatility and variety, he is as comfortable with comedy as drama, on film, television, stage, or audio. With Texas Comedies, he's often pulling double duty and playing with the band in the moments when he's not on the stage.
Dan has worked with multiple theatre and film companies throughout Texas.
Greg is a massively talented percussionist who plays drums for Texas Comedies as well as many bands.
Rachel Pallante is an American actress, singer, and comedian. She made her co-star debut with Bob Odenkirk in 'Better Call Saul' and won the 2022 ADDY Award for Radio & Television. Rachel is known for her musical-comedy sketches and characters she creates for YouTube. A graduate of the Webster Conservatory for Musical Theatre, she has performed with TexArts, Zach Scott Theater and was a long-time member of the Austin troupe Esther’s Follies.
