What Do We Do?

Texas Comedies brings irreverent musical comedies to towns across the state: shows like The Feud, Bonnie & Clyde, Murders & Moontowers, Prohibition, and Alamo Aftermath. In theaters and halls of all sizes, we perform one hour musical comedy productions, each with a live band, loosely based on “true” events in Texas history.

Right out of the Box

Texas Comedies shows are ready-to-go. That includes the cast, set pieces, props, costumes and a band. We work with your basic lighting and sound equipment, and bring our own gear if needed.

How Does it Work?

Every performance we do - in every town - is unique. We will customize the show - and the budget - specifically for your community.
We look at the size of the venue, your expected audience, and ticketing options. We also have outside funding sources, such as the Texas Commission on the Arts, that can help underwrite the performance.

Work the Crowd

To guarantee a full house, we help promote the show with videos, press and local radio spots. Our actors mingle with the crowd, in character, before the show.
